All the rooms are as you would expect from a period building, very different and individual. They range from antique furnished twin bedded rooms to contemporary suites with adjoining rooms for families. All rooms have a flat screen TV with both freeview and satellite reception, a direct dial telephone, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The lift in the main building serves all but 3 rooms, there is also a specially adapted bedroom for the disabled guest.Twelve south facing rooms are housed in the former stable block of what was the Coaching Inn, and is now known as the 'Castle View Cottage' . All amenities of the hotel bedrooms are available together with trouser press. Some have super king sized double beds, which can be split into twin beds if needed. The independence of these rooms make them especially popular with both our business guests and golfers. Traditional Sunday Luncheon is available and always includes at least two Roast meat choices.

We cater for a range of Dietary requirements and will be happy to discuss these with you.

A varied Entertainment Programme is scheduled throughout the year, which always includes dancing.

The 'Mane Place' our comfortable lounge bar serves a variety of home made dishes all day, every day.

BarIn the 'Mane Place' our popular lounge bar, newly refurbished with comfy leather chesterfield sofas, guests can enjoy a drink from the well stocked bar with a choice of real guest ales. Also on offer - occasional live entertainment and quiz nights. A large selection of home cooked dishes and snacks can be ordered every day from noon. Indulge yourself with any of our Fairtrade hot beverages and a selection of cakes and pastries.

The separate Snug Bar is the ideal place for residents and their guests to enjoy an aperitif or a quiet, late night tipple. Free Wi-fi access is also available for all guests throughout the bar areas.

Sky Sports & ESPN with our large screen is a great way to enjoy any major sporting events.

We booked our stay in Criccieth very last minute, having meant to be in Malta for 3 days but being stranded by the volcanic ash!

The Lion Hotel is very close to all the local pubs & restaurants, & also to the beach. We mostly ventured out, but the room had everything we needed & was in an anex off the main building which was nice. The staff were friendly, and we had a really nice stay.
