Dear AllI thought I would put pen to paper and thank you and your lovely staff for us having a lovely weekend at the Lion Hotel. My room was lovely and with a pretty bathroom, I was in room 18 and my friend in room 20, she was very happy as well.The walk down to the shops and the beach were lovely and we were very lucky with the weather what a bonus!Fondest MemoriesTina. HelloWe have just returned home from our break with you. We took the scenic route home as you sugeested to Llanelli, visiting Portmeirion and Barmouth on the way.The six of us had a really wondrful time with you. I would like to say how much my mother and I enjoyed our week with June 4th-10th.All the staff were very pleasant and helpful notably Sarah in the restaurant. I was particulary impressed with the meal I had on Monday evening, it was excellent, very much so considering the kitchen was also dealing with two coach parties.I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to friends, and will certainly consider coming again.Thanks again for being a part of a lovely holiday.S Chinchen. Hello!We've just returned home after our Easter Holidays in Wales. A great 3 daysWe booked our stay in Criccieth very last minute, having meant to be in Malta for 3 days but being stranded by the volcanic ash!The Lion Hotel is very close to all the local pubs & restaurants, & also to the beach. We mostly ventured out, but the room had everything we needed & was in an anex off the main building which was nice. The staff were friendly, and we had a really nice stay.Mrs C Andrew. April 10

Firstly I would like to thank you for a wonderful time, the hotel & staff have been fantastic. But this is really a thank you to your waitresses and kitchen staff, I have recently been diagnosed with Coeliac disease, which means a gluten free diet and as I am only learning what I can & can't eat, they have been tremendously helpful and I have enjoyed good meals.P Smith. Dear Sir or Madam,I brought down a crowd of people to your murder mystery weekend Feb 10-12th February with Wombwell travel. We have been doing so for 6 out of the last 7 years. We tried somewhere different once but soon came back. We started with a dozen people at first and we have increased in numbers every year until we had 41 this year. Almost evry single person is wanting to return next year so we actually get a full coach.The reason that we keep returning is that apart from it being at just the right time, between Christamas and the start of Spring. Is that it is such a nice location and such a friednly hotel.The hotel has a very homely feel about it, the food is excellent and your staff are so friednly and gelpful. Woud you please pass on our thanks to all your staff. For the second year, we have had a 'big' birthday with one of our members and your reception has put up with me bombarding them with emails about cakes, balloons and seating arrangements and I am very grateful for their help.Thank you for helping make our break so much fun, and we will see you again next year.Barney Reeves February 12
